Lambeth urges parents to get children vaccinated against polio

Lambeth is offering a booster vaccine to protect children against the harmful polio virus.
Walk-in clinics for children aged 1-9 have opened in the borough:

Polio virus found in London sewage
The polio virus has been discovered in parts of London's sewage system.
In response, the government is recommending that all children aged 1-9 receive booster vaccinations.
Infection from polio can lead to paralysis. Getting the booster vaccine is the best way to protect your child.
