King’s College Hospital Community Special Care Dentistry
Lunch and Learn is a training session to give an overview of Lambeth Early Action Partnership (LEAP) and our oral health strategy for local dental practices and their team members.
The training is for local dental practices within the LEAP wards and surrounding area.
This training will give dental practitioners a better understanding of LEAP, our oral health strategy, and how we can work together to support the dental needs of LEAP families.
The training is delivered within the practice during the lunch break and lunch is provided.
Evidence states that children in deprived areas are at greater risk of poor oral health and the LEAP wards have a high number of deprived areas. By working with local dental practices, we hope that together we can influence early attendance, increase fluoride application and improve children’s oral health.
One hour of GDC compliant verifiable CPD.
Local dental practices are being offered the training and on-going support on a rolling basis.
