LEAP is investing to help local children's centres provide a full offer for local children and their families.
This includes access to parenting services such as Together Time, Circle of Security, Raising Early Achievement in Literacy (REAL), Baby Steps, Chattertime, and Empowering Parents Empowering Communities.
It also includes access to specialist services such as Speech and Language Therapy, mental health support, family nutrition, midwifery, and health visiting.
We have (nearly) completed a programme of capital upgrades to our four main children's centres. At each centre (St Stephen's, Liz Atkinson, Loughborough, and Jubilee) we have improved entrances so they are more welcoming for parents, created more health and consultation rooms and additional spaces for multi-agency working, and improved outdoor areas.
