Parent Champions training is made up of 6 sessions. It works out as 2 hours per week.
You then volunteer for a minimum of 6 months.
Volunteering activities include:
Sharing information about early years’ services with other parents and carers in your networks.
Supporting community events by giving out leaflets and telling people about other activities and services.
Supporting parents in groups at children’s centres and community organisations by including them in the group and giving information, encouragement and support.
We hold training 3 times a year for local parents who want to support families in Lambeth. You will share information, befriend isolated parents, support digital learning and more.
