Why become a Parent Representative?

As a Parent Representative, you’ll be part of a team of parents whose voices are key to shaping the LEAP programme and services within your community

As a Parent Representative, you’ll make a huge difference for families and children in your community by:

  • Taking part in all Partnership Board meetings (six per year)
  • Acting as an ambassador for the LEAP programme in your neighbourhood
  • Contributing to transformation in Lambeth by influencing and shaping the LEAP programme, collaborating with the LEAP Partnership and community groups

Following enrolment, you’ll receive an information pack, introductory session about your role and briefing sessions before and after meetings. Travel expenses will be refunded. You will also have the opportunity for personal development, further education, skills and pathways to employment via other LEAP activities and courses.

Get involved!

If you’re a parent or carer, of any age and background living in the LEAP areas, who is enthusiastic about making a difference within your community, join us!
