LEAP Community Engagement
The LEAP Community Engagement Program aims to reach as many parents in the community as possible to promote LEAP activities and to helpLEAP parents’ voices to be considered and heard.
What activities do the LEAP Community Engagement team hold?
THe LEAP Community Engagment Team regularly hold a variety of events out in the local Lambeth community.
- family fun days
- one-to-one support for parents
Each LEAP ward has a ‘Family Engagement Worker’ who promotes events and who parents can contact directly for information on local activities.
A Family Outreach Worker based at Jubilee Children’s Centre provides additional support for Tulse Hill and Coldharbour wards.

LEAP works with a number of local and national organisations on its community Engagement work, including:

- Myatt’s Field Park

- Stockwell Partnership
- Jubilee School
LEAP: A Game of Two Halves
In 2018, LEAP piloted a programme called “A Game of Two Halves”. This was an initiative put in place by the LEAP Community Engagement team to reach local dads and combine information about early years best practices and information with football.
